Why this page exists
The peptide market has historically been opaque: vendors with no traceable identity, COAs that are PDFs without a verifiable lab, reviews submitted by the vendors themselves, and no recourse when something arrived wrong. We built Peptide.best to make that the past, not the present. This page is the documented standard we hold ourselves and every vendor to.
Vendor verification standard
Every vendor that lists on Peptide.best has completed our six-step verification:
- Legal entity verification. Registered business, valid EIN, address verified by independent service. State pharmacy/compounding licenses where applicable.
- Lab-of-record disclosure. The third-party lab that performs the vendor's COA testing is named, contactable, and confirmed by us to be a real, accredited lab.
- Sample-batch independent verification. Before listing, the vendor's product is sampled and re-tested at our partner labs (Eurofins, Alkemist, Avomeen). Their published purity must match our independent measurement within tolerance.
- COA template audit. The vendor's COA format includes identity (HPLC-MS), purity (HPLC-UV at 215 nm), endotoxin (LAL) for injectables, counterion content disclosure, batch number, manufacturing date, expiration date, and lab signature.
- Chain-of-custody audit. Storage temperature monitoring, shipping packaging specifications, and any cold-chain validation.
- Customer service SLA benchmark. The vendor must demonstrate consistent 4-hour response time during business hours.
Vendors that fail any step do not list. Vendors who maintain a 4.5-star rolling rating earn a "Verified" badge. Vendors that drop below 4.0 are placed under review.
COA requirements
Every product on Peptide.best ships with a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis. A real COA contains:
- Identity confirmation by HPLC-MS (mass spectrometry trace)
- Purity by HPLC-UV at 215 nm, >99.0% for premium products
- Endotoxin level below 0.5 EU/mg for injectables (LAL test)
- Counterion content (acetate, TFA, HCl) — disclosed, not hidden
- Batch number, manufacturing date, expiration date
- Lab name, lab signature, lab contact
The COA is downloadable as PDF from every product page and is included physically in the shipment.
Verified-buyer review enforcement
Reviews on Peptide.best are purchase-gated. The rules — every customer, every vendor, every page — are:
- Eligibility. A review can only be written if the reviewer's user ID has an Order with status DELIVERED for that product ID, AND the delivery date is within the last 365 days, AND there is no existing review by that user for that product.
- UI. The "Write a review" button routes logged-out users to sign in. After login, an eligibility check determines display. If ineligible, the user sees a clear explanation: "Reviews are limited to verified buyers — purchase this peptide to leave a review."
- Verified badge. Every displayed review carries a
✓ Verified Buyerchip showing the purchase month and year. No exceptions, no manual override. - Tamper protection. Vendors cannot delete or edit customer reviews from the vendor portal. Vendors can reply publicly (one reply per review) and flag reviews for moderation. Only Peptide.best moderation staff can remove a review, and only with a logged reason in the audit trail.
- Rate limiting. Maximum 1 review per user per product. Maximum 5 reviews per user per week (anti-bot).
- Schema enforcement. Every review record has a required, unique
orderItemIdlinking it to the specific purchased order line. Reviews without that link cannot exist in our database.
Fraud prevention
We invest heavily in keeping bad actors off the platform:
- Escrow on every order. Buyer funds are held by Peptide.best until delivery is confirmed and the buyer has 24 hours to inspect. Only then are funds released to the vendor. Chargebacks against the vendor become Peptide.best risk, not vendor risk.
- Counterfeit detection. Our partner labs randomly re-test batches that have already been listed. Mismatches result in immediate delisting and a refund of every affected order from that batch.
- Vendor identity proofs. No anonymous sellers. Every vendor's legal identity is verified and is liable under our vendor agreement.
- Card fraud screening. All card payments are screened by Stripe Radar plus our own behavioral model.
Reporting issues
If you've received a product that doesn't match its COA, that arrived damaged or temperature-excursed, or that you suspect is counterfeit:
- Email safety@peptide.best with your order number, photos of the product/COA/packaging, and a description.
- Do not use the product. Set it aside in case we want it sent to our partner lab.
- We respond within 4 business hours. If counterfeit/mismatch is confirmed, we refund every affected order and delist the vendor pending investigation.
For broader safety concerns (e.g., a vendor making medical claims they shouldn't, a product mislabeled, etc.), email safety@peptide.best directly. We treat all reports seriously and respond personally.
What we don't pretend to know
We are not the FDA. We do not certify peptides as safe for any specific use. Our verification confirms identity, purity, and chain of custody — it does not constitute medical endorsement of any product. Our Research Hub is educational, not prescriptive. See our full disclaimer.
